We have a batch of new members on here and we wanted to reach out and ask if anyone would like to see any new discussion categories made available on the Humboldt Maker's Community Forums. We currently have sections on various trades and hobbies but if you're not seeing your community let us know!
While we do not need an exhaustive list of every hobby in existance, if you're actively making something, say perhaps crocheting, knitting, oil painting, glass blowing, etc, but don't feel like there is a good forum for that on here let us know!
Humboldt Maker's a local to Humboldt County community project with the long term goal of bringing a maker space to Humboldt County. We believe we can learn from each other's knowledge and all grow stronger in our various artistic mediums and crafts. We believe there is value in in the intermingling of various trades and hobbies and the really fun stuff happens in the overlapped sections of the Venn diagram of making things. Humboldt Makers is an inclusive organization and we would love to see all the various talents Humboldt's artisans and maker's have to offer!
